You might have noticed from our social media pages that we’ve been posting some behind-the-scenes pictures from a photo shoot we did a while back, with our model wearing several new dresses that we’re hoping to get in very soon! This shoot had quite a fun level of creativity for us, and believe me, we were all living for Cory’s look! We had to find a way to give those dresses a different vibe than we normally do, and how did we do that? With the inspiration of Japanese anime!
A lot of the dresses we photographed had that anime schoolgirl/maid feel to them, so it felt natural to style the wigs and the model accordingly. We were very inspired by the big hairstyles with edgy, wild looks to them, which we felt looked great with the outfits we shot! Karla Lambert, our wonderful makeup artist for this shoot, did such a great job styling them, too!
Posing Cory in these dresses was simple, mostly because he’s so good at getting into the character of whatever he’s modeling. He followed his intuition with his poses, which all turned out to be so fun and engaging for the photos. With every shot that Michael Luna, our outstanding photographer, took while Cory did his cute model stuff, we were ooh-ing and ahh-ing at just how great they looked! The dress was on point, the hair looked amazing, his poses were outstanding, and we just couldn’t get enough of it!
As far as the products go, we’re hoping to get these dresses in very soon, but however, we will be getting the dress pictured below in the next week or two!
