May I please ask if you would please consider writing an article about c d’s that enjoy wearing 1950’s style silky slips, full brief nylon granny style panties, shiny satin bras, garter belts, and silky sheer black reinforced heel and toe nylon stockings, like I do? Would you please consider doing a survey to ask how many c d’s enjoy wearing this type of silky feminine and glamorous style lingerie, and nylons, and why they like it, to advise us all of the results? Thank you for your consideration and help with my c d question.
I suppose I was very naive back then but I was shocked by the fact that very few women actually still wore elaborate lingerie. My perspective was why not?? I mean, I would have leapt at the opportunity (or excuse I suppose) to wear such gorgeous lingerie, whether under a dress while going to the office or, well, in the bedroom lol.
When I got older I finally had the chance and the opportunity to wear what I wanted and I learned that vintage lingerie was just as beautiful as I had hoped, but it was also a lot of work! Getting your seamed stockings to stay straight wasn't as easy as I had thought it would be.
There's really no reason why we are drawn to what we are drawn to. We simply like what we like. However, I think that many of us become aware that there is something special about us during our formative years. At an early point in my life something... awakened in me. One day "girl clothes" were not just what my mom and sisters wore. It was like getting struck by lightning. A dress wasn't "just a dress", it was suddenly something I wanted to wear more than anything in the world. I questioned everything about clothes. Why on earth would I wear boxer shorts when I could wear a lacy panty?
Lingerie, like all fashion, changes all the time. Fortunately fashion tends to repeat itself and many styles become popular again. Although Ms. Page has passed, it's amazing to see her spirit live on with others, specifically Dita Von Teese.

Please count me in as a ‘Yes’ for your survey, I love to wear vintage lingerie. My reason is because the vintage style is the most feminine and glamorous type of lingerie. I also love the materials it’s made from and the way it can give me shape and curves. It’s not always easy to buy and can be expensive, but it’s so worth it.
It’s my favourite type of lingerie. It’s definitely the most glamorous and feminine. I keep it for special occasions and whenever I want to feel like a ‘femme-fatale’
I love lingerie inspired by Bettie Page or the 1950s. Real nylon stockings, and all of the lingerie listed in the question, are the most glamorous, fabulous, sexy, elaborate and feminine things of all. I’m amazed that more women don’t wear this type of underwear more often, I wear it as often as possible.
I love vintage lingerie. It’s so glamorous. It’s always thrillingly silky and sumptuous. It’s so feminine. I would wear it all of the time if I could. There should be a vintage style collection on here. Come on xdress, I’m sure it would sell well.
I love vintage style lingerie. There are numerous online stores specialising in this type of undergarments, all of which have been supportive and sympathetic to me as a male customer. RHT seamed stockings, wide multi strap garter belts, matching panties, longline bras, corsets, girdles, etc., are all a great investment. It’s not a quick process putting vintage lingerie on, because of the seams, clasps, clips, lacing, etc., and it always gives you a constant reminder of what your wearing, but the effort is so worth while because nothing else looks as beautiful or feels as sexy to wear. I’d really like xdress to produce a vintage style collection, I’d certainly buy it!
