Pillow Talk w/ Hannah: Wax, Shave, Repeat!

Pillow Talk w/ Hannah: Wax, Shave, Repeat!
How can I keep body hair from regrowing?

Unless you are willing to invest your time and money into laser hair removal or electrolysis, you can't.  Body hair is persistent and never ending.  I suppose from an evolutionary perspective body hair thinks it is doing us a favor to keep us warm, but please.  We don't live in caves anymore, lol.  If I am chilly I will put on more clothes (annnnd I hate wearing clothes lol).

I wish I had the money to afford a permanent solution, but I'll have to continue shaving and waxing on a regular basis.  And really, if you maintain your body hair removal it's really not that bad.  I remove my body hair once a week and it takes about thirty minutes.  That's not a bad investment (time wise) for a week or so of smoothness.

Of course, the longer you go without shaving, the longer it will take.  It will be a different process, depending on how long of a break you take between shaving.

Since I shave weekly, my process is just Nair, shaving cream, and a razor.  The hair growth over the course of a week is fairly minimal.  However, if you go months without shaving, then it's not as simple.  More than likely a simple razor is not going to work on your hair if you haven't shaved your legs in a couple of months (or ever).  You will probably need an electric razor to remove most of the longer hairs,  Yes, a simple razor *might* do the job but it will take a lonnnnng time and all that hair has to go somewhere right?  Probably right down the drain?  Unfortunately body hair and plumbing are mortal enemies and there's a good chance you'll clog the drain and need someone to come out to unclog everything.

And yes, I know this from experience, lol.

I do wish there was a topical cream or a magic pill we could take to stop body hair, but there's not.  Like most things in life, our presentation takes time, effort, and money.  If you want a smooth body and you can't afford a cosmetic procedure, pick up a razor, lather up, and commit to a regular shaving schedule.

Commit is the BIG word here.  If YOU are not removing YOUR body hair, it's going to stay there.  It's not going to fall out on its own.  Willing it, or wishing for it to vanish is not realistic.

One more thing:  shaving, if done on a regular basis, isn't *that* bad.  Again, since I stick to a schedule it takes about thirty minutes.  Shaving my legs is a wonderful feeling, and the effort is always, always worth it.  When I shave my legs, I think about all the years that went by where I wanted more than anything to have smooth skin and now finally, a wish, a dream comes true.

Love, Hannah

Ok. I will give it a try. Arms, hands, and fingers too. See how it goes. Right now I am wearing a nice dress that I feel good in. But, indeed all this hair is discordant.
