The Origin

When did you first start wearing panties or lingerie, and what made you want to move away from traditional men’s underwear?

I started wearing panties and lingerie about 4 years ago. I started moving away from traditional men’s underwear by only wearing thongs a lot more and felt most comfortable in those. I was beginning to explore being nonbinary and my gender expression and what felt best for me. Then I found lingerie and panties and it opened a whole new world for me. I began not only dressing more feminine but under my clothes I was  wearing thongs, panties and lingerie and it really was a game changer. Finding panties that fit my anatomy really helped me to feel beautiful and feminine. 

The Turning Point

Can you describe the specific moment or product when you went from just "trying" lingerie to fully embracing it as part of who you are?

For me a big turning point was discovering not just panties but thongs. I was also meeting lots of men that were into me dressing more feminine and it was more of a kink at first but slowly started turning into part of a bigger part of my life. 

The Routine 

How has wearing lingerie shifted from a "special occasion" habit to an everyday staple for you—and how do you decide what to wear on any given day?  

Originally I liked wearing it for guys I hooked up with seeing how turned on it made them. But I was also exploring who I was on a deeper level than just sex and I began gravitating towards panties and lingerie as my undergarments on a regular basis, not just in bed. 

Styles & Fabrics 

What are your favorite lingerie styles and fabrics, and why do they feel right for you?

I love to wear soft panties: soft fabrics, satin, even some lace. I usually save the lace for special occasions, but other fabrics I feel are most comfortable on a day to day basis. 

The Fit Factor

Lingerie designed for male bodies often requires different support or sizing considerations. What fit or sensory details (like seam placement, pouch support, or waistband stretch) make or break a piece for you? 

For me most things fit almost exactly how I want. Sometimes lace material doesn’t drape how I like over my butt but that usually determines if I like something on me or not less so than a seem or ouch support. My butt is one of my favorite parts of my body as long as that is framed nicely I’m happy. 

Self-Expression & Identity

Some men wear lingerie to tap into their softer or feminine energy, while others just view it as better-fitting, more aesthetic clothing. How do you view the relationship between your lingerie and your masculinity or identity?

I’m a very feminine person. I love tapping into anything that will make me feel more feminine. I’m nonbinary and I really enjoy embracing softer feminine energy. Of course the look of lingerie is beautiful and aesthetically very pleasing to me. I even have a lingerie tattoo because of how much I really enjoy it. But I use it not only as a way to feel sexy buy a way to express my gender identity and bring myself confidence. 

Openness & Relationships

How open are you about wearing lingerie, and if you share your life with a partner, how has your journey played out in your relationship? Do your friends know? 

I’m very open about my love for lingerie. I have two partners currently and for one of my relationships my lingerie plays a big part in our time spent in the bedroom. He really enjoys seeing me in something soft and feminine. It’s a big contrast compared to his love of briefs which he tends to wear all the time. I would say most of my friends (if not all) know I love lingerie and panties. 

Impact on Confidence

Beyond comfort, how has wearing lingerie impacted your overall confidence or everyday self-expression?  

I wear panties almost every single day and it really boosts my confidence. Knowing that not only what the eye can see is presented in a feminine light but also what’s under my skirt. To me wearing traditional underwear was more of having to but being able to choose panties over it helps me feel so much better throughout my day. 

Advice to Your Younger Self

If you could go back in time to the day you bought your first pair, what wisdom or reassurance would you give your younger self?         

I would tell my younger self to not be worried or scared of what others may think. It’s your life/your journey and it’ll make you so much happier. Your fear or worries are so silly, you’ll find a whole community of lie minded people or even people who enjoy seeing you be sexy and happy.

What does XDress mean to you, and how has it supported your lingerie journey?

For me XDress was where I purchased my first pair of panties. I asked a friend where they like to get their panties and lingerie from and they sent me to XDress. I was so happy to find garments that were made for my anatomy and were so sexy and comfortable!
