The Origin

I started wearing lingerie during the pandemic. I became fascinated by how my masculine body looked in lingerie, especially with my body hair showing through stockings or sheer fabrics. I loved the way panties emphasized my thighs and how a bra complemented my chest. As I became more comfortable with lingerie, I started sharing photos privately with people who followed me on Instagram, and their positive reactions encouraged me to explore that side of myself even more.

The Turning Point

Can you describe the specific moment or product when you went from just “trying” lingerie to fully embracing it as part of who you are?

It wasn’t one specific piece, but rather a gradual realization. I started feeling unique and special when I saw myself in lingerie and compared my photos to other people’s. As I began sharing my photos publicly on Instagram, I received many positive messages from people telling me how good I looked and how well lingerie suited me. I loved the way the colors and fabrics highlighted both the masculine and feminine aspects of my body. That positive feedback helped me become more confident and truly embrace lingerie as part of my self-expression.

The Routine

How has wearing lingerie shifted from a “special occasion” habit to an everyday staple for you and how do you decide what to wear on any given day?

For me, lingerie is still something I wear for special and intimate occasions rather than every day. I like putting it on when I want to feel more playful, flirty, or confident, especially during intimate moments. I enjoy the way lingerie can create a different mood and make those moments feel more exciting. For me, it’s less about wearing it every day and more about choosing it intentionally for special occasions.

Styles & Fabrics

What are your favorite lingerie styles and fabrics, and why do they feel right for you?

My favorite fabrics are satin, lace, and sheer materials. I especially love satin because of its smooth feel and subtle shine. I also love lace and sheer fabrics because they create an interesting contrast with my masculine body. I really enjoy the way these materials look and feel against my skin.

The Fit Factor

Lingerie designed for male bodies often requires different support or sizing considerations. What fit or sensory details make or break a piece for you?

For me, the fit is extremely important. When it comes to panties or lingerie bottoms, I need them to have the right amount of support and to fit a masculine body comfortably. It can be uncomfortable when everything isn’t properly adjusted, especially if I’m at work or in a social setting. For bras, I like a snug fit and a design that accentuates my chest while still being made with a masculine frame in mind. I love when the design highlights my chest while combining a traditionally feminine material with my masculine features.

Self-Expression & Identity

Some men wear lingerie to tap into their softer or feminine energy, while others just view it as better-fitting, more aesthetic clothing. How do you view the relationship between your lingerie and your masculinity or identity?

For me, lingerie makes me feel unique and special. I love looking at myself in the mirror wearing stockings or lingerie and seeing a version of myself that feels different from everyone else. I also really enjoy taking photos of myself in lingerie and having people admire my body. I’m a go-go dancer, and sometimes I wear lingerie during my performances. I love when people compliment my outfits and tell me that lingerie looks especially good on me. For me, it’s a way of expressing myself and feeling confident in both my masculinity and the way I choose to present myself.

Openness & Relationships

How open are you about wearing lingerie, and if you share your life with a partner, how has your journey played out in your relationship?

I’m currently in a relationship, and my boyfriend actually met me through my social media. He already loved seeing my photos in lingerie, so it was something he knew about from the beginning. I remember that the first time we met and had an intimate encounter, I was wearing a beautiful lingerie set, and he loved it. Whenever we have the opportunity, we enjoy playing with those kinds of roles, with me wearing lingerie and him wearing a suit. It’s something fun and playful that we both enjoy together.

Impact on Confidence

Beyond comfort, how has wearing lingerie impacted your overall confidence or everyday self-expression?

I feel confident and unique when I wear lingerie. I love the way I look, and it makes me feel comfortable with who I am. There’s something about lingerie that makes me feel especially sexy and confident. Honestly, there’s no other type of underwear that makes me feel as sexy as lingerie does.

Advice to Your Younger Self

If you could go back in time to the day you bought your first pair, what wisdom or reassurance would you give your younger self?

I would tell myself, “Don’t stop. Don’t hold yourself back, and don’t doubt yourself.” Enjoy exploring and playing with this type of underwear. Accept yourself, regardless of what other people may say. You might receive ten negative comments and only five positive ones because of taboos or misconceptions surrounding lingerie, but what matters is doing what makes you happy and what makes you feel unique and sexy. That’s what truly matters.

The XDress Community

What does XDress mean to you, and how has it supported your lingerie journey?

XDress is the only brand I’ve found that uses satin in a way that makes me feel comfortable and confident. It’s also the brand I would love to purchase more pieces from. I know their catalog is somewhat limited when it comes to certain styles, such as sheer and lace pieces, but I absolutely love how their lingerie looks and feels. I still remember my first XDress set. It was a beautiful black set that gave me the confidence to try wearing heels as well. That outfit made me feel incredibly playful, confident, and sexy.

I used to think this kind of thing was rare, but honestly it is becoming more common in my circle. I have briefs and also a few softer lace pairs that I rotate in depending on what I feel like wearing. My girlfriend is really supportive and sometimes picks things out for me. I never imagined I would wear panties almost weekly in my underwear rotation but I love it. I wish XDress would come out with more panties in different fabrics like cotton, bamboo, silk or blends of those! I like satin but it’s not practical everyday or all day especially when it’s hot out. You guys would get so much of my money if you had collections with different fabrics. Also no more prints.

I have been experimenting with different styles of underwear for most of my adult life and panties have been part of that journey for a long time. What has changed for me recently is that I no longer treat it like something separate or hidden. It is just what I wear now. Comfort has become more important to me as I have gotten older and I find that traditional men’s underwear just does not offer what I want anymore. Panties feel better against the skin and fit my lifestyle in a way I did not expect when I first tried them years ago.

I wear panties everyday!! I wish x-dress would restock the fabulous day dream collection! I also miss the old floral styles like the Ashley or Daisy collections you used to do. Sad those are gone.

Very good blog and nice to see yet another man fall into the love of panties! Satin is king of lingerie and I absolutely love it! The way is feels and accentuates the body is great! Love to see MORE of it on the XDress site! It seems to have disappeared!

Great feature! What Ramejuma said about the contrast between a masculine frame and sheer or lace fabrics is spot on. That exact aesthetic is what drew me to lingerie in the first place—there’s something awesome about taking fabrics traditionally meant for one look and adapting them to a guy’s body.

Finding pieces that offer the right support without feeling restrictive is always the tricky part, so I really resonated with his points on fit. I’d love to see XDress take his feedback to heart and expand into more sheer and lace styles designed specifically for male proportions. Thanks for sharing your journey, man!
